SoftBank Corp. (“SoftBank”) launched an AI computing platform powered by the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 on December 22, 2025. This platform initially comprises 1,224 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, with plans for future expansion to over 4,000 units, delivering a massive 10.6 ExaFLOPS of computing performance. The platform also adopts a direct-to-chip liquid-cooling architecture to achieve exceptional power efficiency and stable performance.

SB Intuitions will utilize this state-of-the-art AI computing platform to accelerate the development of “Sarashina,” its homegrown large language model (LLM) tailored for the Japanese language. By leveraging these high-performance and stable computing resources, SB Intuitions aims to establish a robust framework for the reliable supply of high-quality Generative AI services and accelerate their social implementation across Japan.
